NAME: Larry “Butch” Curtis

FAMILY STATUS: Married to Kay; they have a son, Ryan, who is a sophomore at NYU.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Curtis came to PGT Trucking, Inc. in September 2003 at the request of our friends at Worthington Steel Industries, Baltimore plant. We have thanked them many times for thinking of us when “Butch” was unhappy with his former carrier home.

Mr. Curtis has few hobbies away from trucking and will tell you that his hobby is trucking. When you enjoy your work the way “Butch” does, it is understandable why he has achieved numerous quarterly incentives from his hard work ethics.

“Butch” was chosen as the 2005 Baltimore Driver of the Year and has also received two PGT Trucking, Inc. Safety Awards in three full years with the company.

Mr. Curtis, when not working, enjoys football and is an avid Baltimore Ravens fan.

It is with great honor we recognize Mr. Larry “Butch” Curtis as the first recipient of the PGT Driver of the Month.

NAME: Don “Doc” Daugherty

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: “Doc” has been with the PGT Family for a long time and he is a member of the Million Mile Driver Club. “Doc” runs step deck loads, stretch loads, over width loads and van deliveries as well. “If it absolutely has to be done – He never lets us down!”

We want to recognize and commend “Doc” for his positive attitude, dedication, work ethic and great personality; he truly is a Proud Professional.

“Doc’s” father, Cecil Daugherty, a former PGT driver, was the recipient of the 1990 Harry “Buster” Barnes Award; and “Doc’s” brother, Jerry Daugherty, also drove for PGT.

“Doc”, when not driving, loves bluegrass and attending festivals and most of all spending time with his family and three dogs, Bear, Boone and Squeaky.

NAME: Scott Philips

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Scott is a local driver and he also fills in for Ellwood City Forge. Scott is a Driver Trainer and he does an excellent job coaching and instructing our new hires through their training period. Scott also helps with road tests on Mondays and makes himself available wherever and whenever needed.

Scott has received the PGT Safety Award each year from 2001 to 2006. Scott is a very conscientious driver and sets a great example for our new drivers with his positive, friendly approach.

Scott is a Proud Professional and very deserving of being recognized as Driver of the Month. Scott, when not driving, loves spending time with his beautiful family.

NAME: Mike Gregory

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Mike is always willing to help out in any area needed; he was formerly based out of the Louisville, KY Terminal and is now running OTR and continues to prove himself. He is punctual and always delivers loads on time; Mike is a team player and has stepped up to help cover delivering critical loads to Laredo, Texas.

Mike is a driver trainer and is always available to help other drivers. He sets a great example with his positive attitude and willingness to help; Mike is a PGT “Proud Professional”.

Mike, when not driving, enjoys sharing time with the ones he loves and attending concerts.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Michael is a local driver with wonderful customer service skills. He is unfailingly polite and personable, and he always has a positive attitude. He has been driving for 12 years.

Michael can always be counted on to get loads where they need to be on time, and to always have a friendly word for our customers.

When he is not driving, Michael loves to fish, work on his motorcycle and most of all spend time with his loving family.
