Referral Bonuses: Refer to PGT, Earn Extra Cash!

Customer Referral Bonus: During drivers’ travels with us, if they give us a lead on a customer that turns into us hauling freight, we reward their efforts with a discretionary bonus. The bonus amount depends on how much business the lead turns into.


Mechanic Referral Bonus: We are always looking for qualified mechanics and technicians for our network of maintenance facilities. If you refer a person to us, and they get hired, we would like to reward your efforts. We will pay you $500 when the person starts work, and another $500 after the person has stayed with us for 90 days.


Driver Referral Bonus: Current company drivers and independent contractors are eligible to participate in the Driver Referral Plan. This plan rewards drivers who are influential within the industry and promote our company to drivers who have a minimum of six months of verifiable driving experience.


Payment will be made to the referring driver as follows:

Upon unit assignment $200
Driver active for 30 days $300
Driver active for six months $500

All payments will be reflected on the next pay period after achievement dates.

Guarantee Minimum Gross Earnings (three or more weeks): Once assigned to a unit, all new drivers will be guaranteed minimum gross earnings of $600 per week for the first three weeks. Drivers must be available for work to be eligible.

Layover Pay: $75 pay weekdays. We also have a special deal for drivers who work weekends: In addition to the pay they will be earning, we put $90 cash on drivers’ cards that can be spent any way they’d like… this is our way of saying thank you.

Pickup / Drop Pay: $25 per pickup or drop outside of the normal one pickup + one drop situation for the average load.

Per Diem: Per diem is the amount the government feels is reasonable for drivers’ daily travel and work expenses. Thus, $52 of drivers’ income is not taxed for the number of days that they work that week. For example, if a driver earned $1,000 last week and worked five days, $260 of the driver’s gross income is not subject to taxes. Thus, your take-home pay is higher than it normally would be.

Holiday Pay: Company drivers are eligible for holiday pay at a rate of $100 per day. This program rewards drivers immediately upon unit assignment.

Eligible company drivers will be rewarded six holidays annually:

Paid Vacation: All company drivers are eligible for paid vacation after successfully completing one calendar year of service.

One week paid vacation each year after one year of service
Two weeks paid vacation each year after three years of service
Three weeks paid vacation after five years of service

90-day Retention Bonus: Company drivers are eligible to participate in the 90-Day Retention Bonus program once their 90-day anniversary is reached. Three payments of $350 each will be distributed according to the following schedule provided the driver remains actively employed:

1st $350 payment: four weeks after 90-day anniversary
2nd $350 payment: eight weeks after 90-day anniversary
3rd $350 payment: twelve weeks after 90-day anniversary

Productivity Safety Bonus: Our company is committed to safety. Company drivers who meet our safety and productivity guidelines are eligible to participate in our new quarterly Productivity Safety Program. Drivers will be paid an additional percentage of the gross revenue based on the following schedule of continuous years of service with the company:

0 – 3 Years 1.25% of quarterly revenue
3 – 5 Years 1.50% of quarterly revenue
5+ Years 1.75% of quarterly revenue

In order to qualify for this additional compensation, drivers must meet specific eligibility criteria.

Roadside Safety Incentive: All drivers are eligible to earn a $25 gift certificate for having no violations and a properly administered logbook on a roadside inspection. To be eligible, drivers must send in to the Compliance Department the official documents and verify that the logs were correctly filled out.

Annual Service Bonus: Company drivers who have achieved 10 years of service will receive a $500 service bonus annually. This payment will be made to eligible drivers on the first pay in December.

Anniversary Gift Program: Company drivers are rewarded for longevity with PGT at various points throughout their career with a selection of gift items. Gifts will be offered at the following landmark anniversary dates:

Additionally, after Company drivers have accrued one year of service, a $100 gift card or certificate will be sent home every year on their anniversary date.

Tuition Reimbursement: Tuition reimbursement is available to new student drivers who meet the eligibility requirements. The second pay of the month following 30 days from unit assignment, eligible drivers will be reimbursed $200 per month until tuition is paid or a maximum of $4800. Driver must meet revenue goals and be active in order to receive payment.

Cell-Phone Reimbursement Program: All Company drivers are eligible for a $25 monthly cell-phone reimbursement after successfully completing one calendar year of service. Payment will be made on the last pay of each month provided that the driver was actively on duty during the month.

Driver Re-certification Physicals: Our company requires the long-form DOT physical. Company drivers are eligible for a $50 allowance towards their recertification physical upon submission of paid receipt. Drivers must obtain a physical at least every two years.

Detention Time Pay: Drivers are paid their pay % of detention time charges. For example, if we bill the customer $75 an hour and a driver’s pay percentage is 26%, the driver would get $19.50 an hour detention pay.
